Many times when I get near the tear duct of the eye, I lighten the line that
I draw. This is because the lashes are most evident at the outer corner of
eye, so the lines and shadows are heaviest there. Since there are no lashes
at the tear duct, and the lashes thin as they get closer to the duct, I depict that by having very thin, or no line at all around the duct area.
